Nashville Business Journal reports that the housing industry is headed for sustainable recovery | Nashville Area Homes for Sale | Franklin Homes for Sale | Brentwood Homes for Sale | National Association of REALTORS | Real Estate impact on Economy

The Grumbles Team wants to share with you that the Nashville Business Journal reported today on a study from the National Association of REALTORS that shows that the first time home-buyer tax credit has worked better than expected.

Of all home purchases this year, 47% were from first-time home buyers.  That is up from 41% last year.  The 47% amounts to approximately 2.35 million home sales, bringing the total sales expectation for 2009 to 5 million.  The forecast from Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist,  is that total home sales in 2010 will be 5.69 million and that this steady depletion of inventory of available homes will bring a positive return in home values.

Whether you are interested in learning how the expanded home buyer tax credit could benefit you if you qualify or you are interested in selling your home, The Grumbles Team can assist you.  The Grumbles team specializes in Franklin homes for sale, Brentwood homes for sale, McKays Mill Homes for sale, Westhaven Homes for sale, and Golf Community homes for sale.
